  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi and welcome to my Blog!

This has truly been such an exciting and long anticipated process. I have such a patient and amazing web designer Tom Gregorio. He is truly a wiz and has been so patient with me while I changed my mind at least a dozen times on the look, style, color, you name it. Thank you Tom!!

It is no secret that I absolutely love to create beautiful images through photography.

As a mother of 8 (yes they are all mine!) and a grandmother I know the importance of capturing each of those moments and stages of your families journey.

I have always loved photography and have been inspired by the art for as long as I can remember, but it was after the death of my son in 1989 that I really learned the VALUE of a portrait. I remember counting how many images we had of his precious 28 days and hanging on the every one of them to remind me and get me through another moment, another day. I was however heart broke that the only image we had done professionally was the one taken in the hospital, you remember the ones they took years ago..the ones that looked like a mug shot of an infant that just had a pacifier snatched out of his mouth, cross eyed and startled. I was greatful for all 70 images we had taken of him but wished we had a beautiful portrait to remember what a beautiful angel God blessed us with for such a short time.
My desire to learn photography and eventually have my own business only grew over the years. Now I have to pinch myself from time to time, just greatful for the ability and blessings I have been given to pursue this God given passion.

As you scroll through my blog you will see a collection of my most recent work and also some of my nature and still life images.

Currently I am working on a project that is very personal to me after my mothers battle with cancer. I am honored to be photographing 12 of the most courageous and beautiful breast cancer survivors for the 2013 Pink Ribbon Connection Calendar. The calendar will feature one portrait chosen by the team at the Indianapolis Pink Ribbon Connection. Although you will not see any of the images displayed here until the final edition of the calendar has been released later this year I will keep you posted on its progress. I can't wait to share some of the images from these beautiful women. They are truly the "Portrait" of Beauty, Spirit and Courage.
